There comes a time when you wonder if you are going mad. If your industry is rendered unviable through lawful restraint of trade, then of course it is unviable. On the face of it, the current situation in the Culture, Events and Hospitality sectors is as a result of political intent. The intent is to implement a restraint of trade. The intent is to offer very limited support.
We now appear to be in for a whole year with no significant income. My MP is a well known Conservative MP and in response to me writing to him quotes “Thanks. I will continue to do all I can to reverse this disastrous policy”
Take heart everybody and be positive. Quite clearly, the current policy is unsustainable – so watch out for huge black tyre marks on the road when the U Turn eventually arrives!
